GLOBAL ACTIONS

The Global Actions Project coordinates the annual FIMRC Summer Break Trip and offers Virtual Volunteering opportunities.

FIMRC Affiliation

FIMRC stands for Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. Their mission, similar to IMED's, is to "to provide access to medical care for underprivileged and medically underserved families around the world." They work to accomplish this mission by organizing volunteers and planning for their arrival to the countries where FIMRC has free clinic projects. For years, FIMRC has helped IMED host general members in different countries. FIMRC provides the safety element that is needed for abroad trips, which

gives us the resources to help underprivileged communities while also helping our members feel safe traveling to other parts of the world!

FIMRC Trip

Each year, IMED partners with FIMRC to improve healthcare in developing communities across the globe. We aim to accomplish this goal by providing access to quality healthcare and educating community members on preventative measures. This coming 2022 IMED hopes to provide an opportunity for our general members to experience a global perspective of health care. We highly recommend seizing this opportunity as you will indeed gain an unforgettable life experience.
