Hello everyone!! My name is Saibrinda, I usually go by sai, and I’m a fourth year neurobiology major. I joined IMED as a freshman intern for Global Actions and throughout the years I’ve gained a great passion for IMED and the incredible people that I’ve become such great friends with! Navigating college hasn't always been easy, and I've had my share of self-doubt, but being able to lean on this amazing community has made it so much easier. IMED has truly taught me so much about myself and my strengths, which I’m so incredibly grateful for! I can't wait to learn more from everyone around me and be able to give back to my community. In addition to IMED, I love binge watching shows, making coffee, swimming, and spending time with my friends. I’m excited to be one of the Co-presidents this year and I can’t wait to learn more <3

Hey y’all! My name is Oluwadara, but you can call me Dara for short. I’m a Neurobiology major entering my fourth year at UCI (it's crazy how fast time flies) and I’m excited to serve as IMED’s Co-President for the 2024-25 academic year! I was drawn to IMED because of its amazing health service projects, which align with my passion for spreading health education and addressing racial and socioeconomic gaps in medicine. Outside of school and IMED, I love crocheting random designs, binge-watching reality TV competitions like Big Brother, The Amazing Race, & The Challenge, and exploring new places for cute eats and drinks—especially matcha. I’m really looking forward to growing our community and making a meaningful impact together this year. Hi guys! I’m a 4th year Neurobiology major and I’ve been working at the Hearing and Speech Lab. After a week of studying, I try to go outdoors and hike or boulder, but if I’m feeling like a homebody then I’ll stay in and try to practice guitar or watch movies (send me your letterboxd!). I’m an on the premed path and I’ve been super passionate about outreach and giving back to the community which made IMED the perfect club for me to join. This is my 3rd year on board and we have a great, passionate board this year ready to plan lots of events for the year. I joined IMED because I resonated with IMED’s mission statement and I wanted to immerse myself in a club in which I could help give back to my community.
