Hey everyone! My name is Alejandro and I am the IMED President this year. I am currently a third year Biological Science major hoping to further my studies in medical school once I graduate. I’ve been a part of IMED since my first year and I can truly say I can’t imagine the last few years without this club. IMED had provided me with countless memories and so many opportunities to give back to the community. During my free time I really enjoying staying in to watch shows, going out into nature, and taking naps. Hey there! My name is Jineen Mashayekh and I am a 4th-year Biological Sciences major. I am the Vice President for this year. I joined IMED two years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I have met amazing people who love to give back to underserved communities. Being in IMED gives me the opportunity to be apart of life-changing volunteering opportunities. Some of my hobbies outside of school include acting, modeling, writing, spending time with family, and dancing! I am really looking forward to this year and getting to know everyone!




Hi besties! My name is Kristina, and I am so excited to be your Secretary this year! I am a fourth-year Human Biology major, and I hope to become a pediatrician in the future. IMED is truly like being part of a second family. I have always loved giving back to my community and working with kids, and IMED gives me the opportunity to do just that! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and rewatching shows I’ve already seen a million times. I’m currently VP for Club Softball and a BioSci Peer Academic Advisor, so you might see me at the front desk of BS3! I’m so excited to get to know everyone <3




Hi! My name is Avanti, and I am excited to be the Treasurer this year! I am a third-year human biology major, and I plan to pursue a career in medicine. As an overwhelmed first-year, I was glad to meet new people who share similar passions as me. Everyone at IMED is so welcoming and helpful, and I am thrilled to be a part of the IMED community. IMED has already provided me with many opportunities to grow, and I am excited to see where this year takes us. Outside of school, I love baking, binging shows, and making arts and crafts. Mentorship and Social Coordinator

Hey guys! My name is Jaden and I’m serving as a Mentorship and Social Coordinator this year! I’m a second year biological sciences major, and I’m aiming to go into medical school with an interest in neuroscience. Joining IMED has allowed me to interact with some amazing and like-minded people, all while working to serve underprivileged communities. In my free time, I love watching movies or immersing myself in music, or finding new spots to hang out with friends. Mentorship and Social Coordinator

Hi! My name is Megan and I am one of the Mentorship and Social Coordinators for this year. I am a second year Biological Sciences major, and I plan on going to medical school in the future. Joining IMED has provided me with amazing opportunities, from being able to volunteer at the Free Clinic to becoming a coordinator for one of the continuing projects. I have enjoyed every moment being a part of IMED and I hope to share these same opportunities with other students. Outside of school, I like to relax and watch movies, but I am currently learning how to crochet! I am excited for this year and getting to know everyone!



Mentorship and Social Intern

Hey! My name is Neha Gujjula and I am a biology major with a minor in psychology. In the future, I am looking toward pursuing a career as a physician. Being a part of IMED has allowed me to give back to the community in many ways as well as seek professional advice from my peers. I am the Mentorship and Social Intern but I really do love the diversity of projects our club offers! Outside of academics, I love choreographing and teaching children Bollywood dance. Additionally, I am involved in UCI’s Anthropology Yearbook team and biomedical engineering research. 



Outreach Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Anushka and I am one of the Outreach Coordinators for this year! I am a second-year Biological Sciences major with a Bioinformatics minor. I hope to pursue the field of medicine and eventually become a surgeon. I joined IMED because of the many incredible opportunities it has. Last year, I was a volunteer at the Free Clinic and loved my experience there. In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, listening to music, and binge-watching shows. Some of my favorites include Friends, The Office, and Gilmore Girls. I am so excited to get to know all of you this year!



Outreach Coordinator

Hey everyone! My name is Shamiha and I’m a second year Pharmsci major and also one of the Outreach Coordinators this year! I’m so excited to be in IMED for another year and am also looking forward to all the events IMED will be having in person this year! This year Outreach is taking on a partnership with TotalCare Walk-In Clinic and rejuvenating Spirit League, but we are also looking towards creating new subprojects! Lately I’ve been spending a lot of my free time cooking and trying to make different types of cuisines for myself and my friends. I also love watching Marvel and Bollywood movies when I have some downtime to relax.



Orphanage Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Ivania Moreno and I am excited to be part of the team as an Orphanage Coordinador. I am a fourth year Crim and Bio major. I joined IMED my third year and have loved being part of the group ever since. I enjoy being involved and giving back to the community and IMED has really given me the opportunity to do so. In my spare time, I like to go out with friends, swim, play waterpolo and paint. I am very excited to be part of a great team and meet everyone! 



Orphanage Coordinator

Hello beautiful people! My name is Lupita and I am a fourth year psych major. I joined IMED after meeting IMED’S incredibly friendly and welcoming board members at the anteater involvement fair. I liked that I could participate in various community service projects alongside peers who were also passionate about spreading health education. I enjoy working out at the arc, watching movies, and going out with friends to get food. I look forward to helping new general members feel welcomed during my last year at UCI!



HealthSmart Coordinator

Hey y’all <3 My name is Kiara and I’m one of the Healthsmart coordinators for this year. I’m a third year criminology and education sciences double major. I joined IMED because I adore working with kids and healthsmart was the perfect opportunity for me to do this and give back to the community in a positive way! I’m excited to get to know all of y’all, I love thrifting, watching movies and going out to eat, sooo if you ever want to hangout just message me and I’d be more than happy to hehe. Hey my name is Saibrinda Kotthru, I’m currently a second year Biology major. I’m the global actions coordinator and for this year I’m really excited to be monitoring the bi-weekly food pantry trips, IVHQ, and FIMRC. My hobbies are singing, swimming, and I’ve also gained a liking to cooking for everyone in my free time as well! I’m really excited to a part of IMED and can’t wait to continue working on these projects and taking a part in the other projects as well.

Hi, I'm Hanna! I'm a third-year Biological Sciences major and IMED's Mentorship & Social Intern! IMED's message particularly resonated with me because I believe healthcare to be an unconditional right that is easily and equally accessible for all. Witnessing my club members produce a collective difference has been incredibly inspiring. I'm beyond thrilled to see how far we can keep going. I enjoy drawing, writing, playing/listening to music, watching anime, and spending time with my friends. I've currently been catching up with Chainsaw Man and playing Splatoon 3. <3 Let's go, team!

I joined IMED because it aligned with my belief that I, and anyone else with access to healthcare and medical education, should serve those who do not have the same access to medical care/knowledge. Fundraising Coordinator

Hey guys! My name is Kaili Yanagisawa and I will be one of your fundraising coordinators for this upcoming school year! I’m a third-year biology education major who hopes to one day become a middle school science teacher (they’re such a cute group I promise!!). I love going out to eat at all of the amazing restaurants that Irvine has to offer, and I definitely have a sweet tooth so I would be so super happy to go with anyone who wants to grab ice cream or boba! When I have free time I like to run and go out to the beach or the local farmers market on the weekends. I joined IMED my freshman year because of all the different opportunities it has to offer, and I am truly so glad that I did. IMED has brought so many amazing people into my life and I have enjoyed every second of it.
